AI Literacy Microcredential
In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, AI is both a transformative technology and a fundamental competency. To meet the need organizations and individuals have regarding this fundamental competency, NJIT is launching a non-credit AI Literacy Microcredential - coming Spring 2025.
INTRODUCTION
The New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) is developing a non-credit Artificial Intelligence (AI) Literacy Microcredential to supports its AI Core Standards as well as to help people connect to the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in today's evolving workplace.

- This microcredential is designed for anyone interested in having a foundational knowledge about AI and is suitable for high school students, young professionals, and more experienced individuals.

AI IN EDUCATION MICROCREDENTIAL FOR FACULTY AND TEACHERS - EXPECTED LAUNCH IN SPRING 2025

The following Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) helped create the AI Microcredentials. Working alongside the Learning and Development Initiative (LDI) staff at NJIT, each SME had to go through a vetting process, complete a course proposal form, build a storyboard, and then ensure the material for each course meets the learning standards as identified by the LDI using a Quality Matters rubric.

As Senior Global Security Frameworks Governance Manager at Medidata Solutions, she drives risk reduction and implements robust security frameworks.
