This page provides information and frequently asked questions (FAQs) for individuals enrolled in a non-credit course.
The Learning and Development Initiative (LDI) is the non-credit division of NJIT, providing skills-based learning and non-degree credentials through a dynamic portfolio of courses, custom training, and workforce development programs.
Grounded in the LDI Workforce Readiness Model—which highlights six foundational skill domains: digital literacy, data literacy, AI literacy, agile thinking, change navigation, and resource optimization—LDI equips professionals, individuals, and organizations with the essential knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today’s volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environment.
Future-focused, learner-centered, and demand-driven, LDI ensures its offerings remain relevant and impactful while offering flexible delivery online (asynchronous and synchronous), at client sites, and across NJIT’s campus facilities.
If you have any questions about your non-credit course please email ldisupport@njit.edu.
Be on the lookout for two emails that are essential for beginning your learning journey:
-
Canvas Registration Email: Look for an email from "NJIT Continued Learning" with the subject line, "Finish Registration: Canvas." This email will invite you to complete your registration on the Canvas platform, our Learning Management System (LMS). If you don't receive it within 24 hours, check your spam or junk folder. If it's still not there, you can go directly to https://njitcl.instructure.com/login/canvas and click "Forgot Password." Enter your work email address to receive a password reset link and set up your login credentials.
