SERVICE PROVIDERS

The Learning and Development Initiative (LDI) offers a broad range of non-degree credentials (NDCs) to the NJIT community and beyond. In today’s rapidly evolving job market, we partner with top-tier external learning providers to deliver high-quality programs that prepare learners for complex, in-demand career paths.

Each partner is selected through a rigorous vetting process conducted by our procurement team, which includes:

  • An in-depth review of course curricula
  • Direct engagement with current and former partner institutions
  • Analysis of student outcome data

We continue evaluating vendor performance through ongoing student feedback and satisfaction metrics, making improvements as needed to better serve future learners.

OUR CURRENT TRUSTED PROVIDERS

The NJIT Cybersecurity Professional Bootcamp offers a comprehensive, hands-on training program designed to equip learners with practical skills for real-world cybersecurity challenges. Through live virtual sessions and interactive cyber labs, students gain experience in securing digital environments. The program also provides career support, including personalized job search assistance, resume building, and interview preparation, to help graduates transition into the cybersecurity workforce. While job placement is not guaranteed, the bootcamp aims to prepare learners for success in the field.

Ziplines Education partners with universities to offer industry-aligned, digital-first upskilling programs in high-demand fields such as digital marketing, business analytics, project management, and AI prompting. Their curriculum combines live instruction, embedded technology certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Salesforce, Tableau), and robust student support, including career resources and AI tools. With a 4.7-star review score, 80% completion rate, and 94% of learners applying skills on the job, Ziplines delivers practical training that empowers individuals to advance their careers.

CLS offers affordable, flexible, and comprehensive legal education programs designed for career advancement in the legal field. Their flagship Paralegal Certificate Course© provides practical training in legal research, litigation support, and case preparation, available in various formats including online, live lecture, and self-study, and is offered through over 150 accredited colleges and universities nationwide. Additional specialized courses are available in areas such as legal nurse consulting, legal investigation, and employment law. Taught by experienced legal professionals, these programs are regularly updated to reflect current industry trends, ensuring students gain job-ready skills. Graduates receive a certificate from their chosen partner institution and gain access to CLS’s Career Center, connecting them with potential employers across the legal sector.

NJIT Tech Bootcamps, in partnership with Flatiron School, offer immersive online programs in game design and game programming, designed to transform beginners into industry-ready professionals in as little as 15 weeks. These bootcamps feature a 5:1 student-teacher ratio, personalized mentorship from seasoned professionals at top gaming companies like Ubisoft, Bethesda, and Sucker Punch Productions, and a curriculum focused on practical, hands-on learning. With a strong emphasis on career readiness, graduates are equipped with the skills and support needed to succeed in the competitive tech industry.
