Service Providers — Overview

The Learning and Development Initiative (LDI) offers a broad range of non-degree credentials (NDCs) to the NJIT community and beyond. In today’s rapidly evolving job market, we partner with top-tier external learning providers to deliver high-quality programs that prepare learners for complex, in-demand career paths.

Each partner is selected through a rigorous vetting process conducted by the Learning and Development Initiative (LDI) team, which includes:

  • An in-depth review of course curricula
  • Direct engagement with current and former partner institutions
  • Analysis of student outcome data

We continue evaluating vendor performance through ongoing student feedback and satisfaction metrics, making improvements as needed to better serve future learners.

Ziplines Education

Ziplines Education partners with universities to offer industry-aligned, digital-first upskilling programs in high-demand fields such as digital marketing, business analytics, project management, and AI prompting. Their curriculum combines live instruction, embedded technology certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Salesforce, Tableau), and robust student support. With a 4.7-star review score, 80 percent completion rate, and 94 percent of learners applying skills on the job, Ziplines delivers practical training that empowers individuals to advance their careers.

Center for Legal Studies (CLS)

CLS offers affordable, flexible, and comprehensive legal education programs designed for career advancement in the legal field. The flagship Paralegal Certificate Course © provides practical training in legal research, litigation support, and case preparation. Courses are available online, live lecture, or self-study through more than 150 accredited partner institutions.
