  • The Learning and Development Initiative (LDI) is proud to offer a wide range of non-degree credentials (NDCs) to the NJIT community and beyond. In response to the ever-evolving demands of today’s job market, LDI strategically collaborates with external learning providers to deliver top-tier content designed to equip learners with the skills needed to navigate complex career landscapes. Each vendor we partner with is meticulously selected through a rigorous vetting process to ensure the highest standards of quality for our learners.
  • Our procurement team conducts thorough evaluations, which include an in-depth review of curricula, direct engagement with current and former partner institutions, and an analysis of student outcome data.
  • Additionally, we maintain ongoing due diligence throughout the vendor relationship, continuously assessing student satisfaction and making adjustments to meet the needs of future cohorts. Our current partnerships include the following providers:

  • The LDI forms strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to further its mission of connecting people with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed. 
    • The NJIT Alumni Association - the LDI partners with the NJIT Alumni Association to offer a series of free workshops covering a variety of topics that focus on the intersection of personal growth and professional development.
    • The New Jersey Department of Labor - on October 10, 2024, the LDI partnered with the NJ Department of Labor and hosted the event "AI in the Life Sciences Summit" where representatives from Bausch + Lomb and other companies discussed how cutting edge technologies are leveraging artifical intelligence.
    • Hire Heroes USA - the LDI is an official training partner for Hire Heroes USA providing a series of workshops focused on Essential Skills to help support veterans and military spouses as they transition to civilian life.
